Infrastructure SRE Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting an external software development organization, the remote Infrastructure SRE Engineer will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, focusing on reliability, observability, and deployment practices for an enterprise AI platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure and reliability capabilities to ensure safe and consistent software delivery
- Establish observability through metrics, logs, and alerting while managing incident response and operational practices
- Automate operational tasks to reduce manual toil and improve delivery speed in production environments
Required qualifications
- Experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices
- Proficiency in establishing observability and defining reliability practices, including SLOs and incident response
- Ability to automate tasks using scripts, tools, and runbooks to enhance operational efficiency
- Understanding of cost and capacity optimization, particularly with GPU workloads
