Infrastructure SRE Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting an external software development organization, the remote Infrastructure SRE Engineer will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and reliability capabilities for an enterprise AI platform, focusing on automation, observability, and production readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code and landing zones to enable safe and consistent deployments
- Establish observability practices using metrics, logs, and dashboards to enhance operational insights
- Automate operational tasks to reduce manual toil and improve delivery speed for mission-critical environments
Required qualifications
- Experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools and practices, including networking and security management
- Experience in defining SLOs and managing incident response and postmortems
- Ability to optimize costs and capacity, particularly for GPU workloads
