Infrastructure SRE Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting an external software development organization, the remote Infrastructure SRE Engineer will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and reliability capabilities for an enterprise AI platform, focusing on automation, observability, and incident response.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions, including landing zones and CI/CD pipelines
- Establish and maintain observability practices using metrics, logs, and alerts to ensure operational reliability
- Automate operational tasks to reduce manual toil and improve delivery speed in production environments
Required qualifications
- Experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and automated deployment practices
- Proficiency in defining SLOs, incident response, and conducting postmortems
- Ability to automate tasks using scripts, tools, and runbooks
- Understanding of cost and capacity optimization, particularly for GPU workloads
