Infrastructure SRE Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting an external software development organization, the remote Infrastructure SRE Engineer will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and reliability capabilities for an enterprise AI platform, focusing on automation, incident response, and production readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions, including landing zones and CI/CD pipelines
- Establish observability and incident response practices to ensure reliable platform operations
- Automate operational tasks to reduce manual toil and improve delivery speed in production environments
Required qualifications
- Experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and automated deployment practices
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Bicep
- Experience in defining SLOs and supporting incident response and postmortem processes
- Ability to optimize costs and capacity, particularly with GPU workloads
