Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Motivated and technically skilled, the full-time Infrastructure Systems Engineer will manage the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of virtual machine infrastructure across VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure environments while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and support virtual machine infrastructure across VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure environments
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated configuration management and compliance enforcement
• Collaborate with platform engineering and security teams to implement hardening standards and ensure infrastructure-as-code best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing virtual machine infrastructure in enterprise environments
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere, including ESXi, vCenter, and VM lifecycle management
• Demonstrated experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Solid understanding of networking concepts related to VM connectivity
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration in a virtualized environment
