Infusion Therapy Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely from anywhere within the U.S., the full-time Intake Operations Support Specialist - Infusion Therapy will manage referrals, verify patient benefits, and communicate with patients and referral sources to ensure timely processing of intake requests.

Key responsibilities:

• Processes orders from referral sources and assesses patient needs upon arrival
• Verifies patient's benefits and eligibility for requested services, obtaining necessary prior authorizations
• Communicates financial responsibilities and assists with referral questions as needed

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or related healthcare service
• Proven experience with healthcare insurance plans, including eligibility and authorization processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to productivity and quality standards
