Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Inland Marine & Cargo Claims Examiner, the full-time remote position will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims related to commercial vehicles and equipment damaged while under the care of transportation-related businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate Inland Marine and Cargo claims involving physical damage to commercial vehicles and specialized transportation equipment
• Review policy language to determine coverage applicability and evaluate liability associated with losses
• Negotiate settlements with insureds and third-party claimants while managing claim documentation in compliance with company standards

Required Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in commercial auto, transportation, or property damage claims handling
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Transportation insurance coverages and related policies
• Understanding of trucking operations and vehicle repair processes
• Experience handling moderate to complex claims in the transportation sector
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications
