Inland Marine Subrogation Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Inland Marine Subrogation Specialist will manage the collection of outstanding balances, coordinate the resolution of disputed invoices, and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and responsible parties in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicate with businesses via telephone and written correspondence to collect outstanding balances
• Negotiate claims' resolution and establish agreements for lien releases and monthly payment contracts
• Maintain account work standards and prepare investigative correspondence as needed

Required qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in third-party collections and/or subrogation
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and negotiate settlements
• Strong customer service experience
• Critical thinking and organizational skills
