Innovation Engagement Advisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Innovation & Ecosystem Engagement Advisor (Home Based).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee innovation labs that facilitate experimentation, prototype development, and applied research for startups
• Advise and manage strategic partnerships with universities, think tanks, and R&D institutions to drive research and sector intelligence
• Organize networking events and mentorship programs to enhance community engagement and position the hub as a thought leader

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (master's) in Social Sciences, International Development, or relevant fields, or a bachelor's degree with additional qualifying experience
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in incubators, accelerators, or startup ecosystems in developing countries
• Extensive experience working with youth entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial ecosystems
• Proficiency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable
• Good knowledge of the UN system and experience in Africa is an asset
