Inpatient Care Management Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare initiative, the remote Inpatient Care Management Medical Director will oversee acute care reviews, collaborate with providers on clinical quality, and utilize evidence-based guidelines while working within a national team structure.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in telephonic outreach to collaborate with treating providers on care plan changes and clinical quality improvements
• Collaborate with operational and business partners on clinical and quality initiatives to meet customer expectations
• Maintain proficiency in required software and participate in rotational holiday and call coverage

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license
• Current Board Certification in an ABMS or AOA specialty
• 3+ years of clinical practice experience post residency
• Technical proficiency in computer software and systems
• Access to a private home office with high-speed Internet
