Inpatient Coder - AHIMA Certified

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Corporate Coder, remote based in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately code and abstract patient health documentation from medical records
• Review flagged cases for coding accuracy and assist in quality reviews/audits
• Attend coding education sessions and maintain coding credentials

Required Qualifications

• Associates or higher-level degree in a Health Information Management discipline
• Completion of at least one AHIMA certified program with a corresponding professional credential preferred
• 1-3 years of inpatient coding experience
• Skilled knowledge of MS Office suite
• Strong technical background and electronic medical record experience
