Job Summary
A healthcare provider is filling a position for a Inpatient Coder in Irving.
Must be able to:
- Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments and procedures according to the ICD-10-CM/PCS Official Guidelines
- Extract and abstract required information from source documentation
- Validate admit orders and discharge dispositions
Position Requirements Include:
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting
- Completion of Accredited Baccalaureate Health Informatics or Health Information Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently in a remote setting, with little supervision
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) (AHIMA)
- All other requirements necessary for this position
