Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Quality Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit records as per the coding quality review plan and validate documentation accuracy
• Communicate audit findings to coders and support resolution of coding issues
• Maintain high productivity and accuracy rates while serving as a coding expert for teams

Required Qualifications

• RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credential is required
• Minimum of seven years of hospital inpatient coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG methodologies
• In-depth understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and various coding software/platforms
