Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Facility Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coding services for various specialties, ensuring accurate assignment of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Analyze medical records to determine appropriate coding and recognize critical care cases
• Maintain quality and productivity standards while communicating professionally with clients

Required Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P), with CCS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Must maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher
