Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist (Coder III) - Fully Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze clinical documentation to assign accurate codes for inpatient services
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding queries

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent coding certification
• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
