Inpatient Corporate Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Corporate Coder (Remote based in the US).

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and productively code/abstract patient health documentation for assigned facilities
• Review flagged cases for coding accuracy and assist in quality reviews/audits
• Attend coding education sessions and maintain coding credentials

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a Health Information Management discipline
• 1-3 years of inpatient coding experience
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Strong technical background and experience with electronic medical records
• Completion of at least one AHIMA certified program with relevant professional credential preferred
