Key Responsibilities

Assigns Diagnosis Related Groups supported by medical record documentation for Inpatient records
Assigns Discharge Disposition supported by medical record documentation for Inpatient records
Ensures that coded records align with productivity standards and quality expectations

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Two years of experience directly related to facility inpatient coding in ICD-10-CM/PCS
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), RHIT, or CCS certification
