Inpatient Medicine Coding Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance coding education, the full-time remote Inpatient Medicine Coding Specialist will research complex coding issues, develop engaging curricula, and provide instructional support to learners at various skill levels.
Key responsibilities
- Design and update coding lessons, projects, and assessments tailored to different learning objectives
- Deliver high-quality instruction using various platforms in both in-person and virtual classrooms
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and analyze performance data to inform instructional improvements
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accreditation such as RHIT, RN, CPC, or CCS-P
- Experience in Inpatient Medicine pro-fee coding
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding, specifically for Inpatient Medicine
- Proficiency in using personal computers, especially with Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Zoom
