Inside Adjuster Consultant

Job Summary

Investigating and resolving complex claims, the fully remote Inside Adjuster Consultant II will manage uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and negotiate settlements while serving as the primary contact for policyholder attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices
• Acts as the primary point of contact for policyholder attorneys, leading direct negotiations to resolve disputes
• Coordinates the appraisal process for highly complex, disputed claims, ensuring adherence to policy provisions

Required qualifications

• Experience in handling complex claims, including UM/UIM and specialized claims
• Ability to review medical reports and prepare for claims settlement evaluations
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on dispute resolution
• Familiarity with compliance issues and the claims process
• Proficiency in documenting claims files and maintaining accurate records
