Job Summary
A company is looking for a part-time Inside Business Development Representative to assist in business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and develop Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for handoff to field Business Development Managers
- Maintain customer relationship management system (Salesforce.com - SFDC) with timely and complete information
- Provide market and customer feedback, and support additional tasks associated with sales and business development
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical sales experience in the biopharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Experience selling technical products and services, preferably with a focus on upstream bioprocessing
- Strong technical background in bioprocessing, with upstream processing knowledge preferred
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in a related scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) preferred
