Inside Property Adjuster

Job Summary

Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for Homeowners Claims, the Inside Property Adjuster will work fully remotely, adjusting and negotiating claims while conducting occasional in-person inspections to evaluate homeowner property claims.

Key responsibilities

• Partners with assigned representatives on claims involving fraud or subrogation to achieve optimal outcomes
• Handles investigations of homeowner first-party claims, exercising discretion and independence within an increased level of authority
• Recognizes key components of residential construction and repair while identifying and addressing customer needs

Required qualifications

• Prior experience handling residential homeowner claims
• Proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis
• Intermediate understanding of insurance policies and organizational relationships
• Basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
• Ability to learn about subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling methods
