Inside Property Adjuster

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Inside Property Adjuster will investigate and confirm facts of loss for homeowners claims, determine coverage and damages, and negotiate claims independently while prioritizing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Handles investigation of homeowner first party claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, exercising discretion within an increased level of authority
• Partners with assigned representatives for claims involving fraud or subrogation to achieve optimal outcomes
• Demonstrates an intermediate understanding of insurance policies and recognizes key components of residential construction and repair

Required qualifications

• Prior experience handling residential homeowner claims is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis
• Basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
• Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate customer service
• Understanding of subrogation and fraud potential in claims handling
