Insider Threat Detection Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance insider threat detection capabilities, the fully remote Insider Threat Detection Consultant will design and implement scalable detection signals by analyzing business processes, user behavior, and existing control environments while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units, HR, Legal, Cybersecurity, and risk partners to understand key processes and existing control environments
• Translate operational risks and control gaps into scalable insider threat detection signals and monitoring use cases
• Analyze user activity and behavioral data to identify anomalies and potential insider risk indicators

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, insider threat, fraud, risk analytics, or detection engineering
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, UEBA, DLP, EDR, or identity/access monitoring platforms
• Exposure to insurance, financial services, fraud, or regulatory environments is preferred
