Insider Threat Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on protecting sensitive information and systems, the full-time Insider Threat Engineer will manage investigations and develop detection capabilities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and tune detections across various platforms and systems to identify insider threats
• Lead investigations into unusual data movement and access anomalies, collecting and correlating information to establish timelines
• Develop automation and investigation tools that enhance the efficiency and consistency of insider threat investigations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in insider threat, detection engineering, or related security fields
• Experience conducting security investigations and analyzing activity to document findings
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or Java
• Knowledge of security technologies like SIEM, DLP, and identity security
