Installation Project Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Installation Project Engineer to lead mechanical support for the installation and start-up of manufacturing process equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the task and workplan for team members to meet customer schedules
- Providing hands-on input and insight into equipment installation and troubleshooting
- Supporting start-up and qualification of equipment and ensuring safe work practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design, installation, start-up, and debugging in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience managing mechanical and electrical trades during equipment installation and debugging
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor
- Knowledge of machine guarding and safety practices (OSHA, ANSI, ASME); OSHA 30 Certification is desired
- Familiarity with high-speed cable manufacturing equipment is a plus
