Institutional Research Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the mission of providing accurate data for decision-making, the full-time Institutional Research Analyst will lead the reporting of employee data and develop Power BI reports while working in-office in Knoxville, TN, with some remote opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyze data to inform institutional decision-making
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports for employee data reporting
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate datasets

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education, educational research, behavioral sciences, business, computer science, or related fields
• At least 2 years of analytical/reporting experience
• 2 years of experience developing Power BI reports
• 2 years of experience writing SQL code
• Knowledge of Institutional Research and familiarity with Banner Student systems preferred
