Instructional Assistant (Cloud Engineering)

Job Summary

To support a growing educational initiative, the part-time hourly Instructional Assistant (Cloud Systems Engineering) will assist in delivering technical training to learners, facilitate hands-on lab activities, and manage learner performance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Instructor in conducting technical training and classroom facilitation using a structured curriculum
• Provide ongoing feedback to learners, coordinate with instructors and coaches, and implement individualized study plans for struggling students
• Participate in administrative tasks, including real-time data entry and attendance monitoring in the Learning Management System

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of backend development with Java and Spring Boot, including RESTful API development
• Familiarity with SQL fundamentals and experience querying relational databases
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control and understanding CI/CD pipelines
• Basic understanding of AWS services and ability to navigate the AWS Console
• Previous experience in a teaching or mentoring role, demonstrating a passion for helping others learn
