Instructional Design Consultant

Job Summary

To support faculty in enhancing online learning, the full-time Instructional Design Consultant will provide consultations, trainings, and direct support for instructional technologies while working remotely from approved states and adhering to a Monday through Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining instructional design resources and templates for online course development
• Serve as project lead for online course design, coordinating with faculty and stakeholders to meet project goals
• Provide effective instructional design consultation to academic programs and faculty preparing to teach online

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in instructional design and working with higher education faculty
• Familiarity with usability/accessibility requirements in online learning environments
• Experience managing projects involving a team and utilizing learning management systems
• Knowledge of trends in educational technology related to online higher education
