Instructional Design Lead

Job Summary

Leading the development of curriculum architecture for the VA Cloud Contact Center Training Program, the full-time remote Instructional Design Lead will create role-based learning paths, design Train-the-Trainer programs, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead curriculum architecture and modular design efforts tailored to VA-specific requirements
• Develop comprehensive role-based modular curriculums for various personnel within the VA
• Create reusable training assets and ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development
• Expertise in adult learning theories and modular, role-based training creation
• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance
• Familiarity with eLearning and instructional authoring tools
