Instructional Design Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Instructional Design Specialist 1 who will support accessible course development in the College of Public Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Support digital accessibility remediation and course build for online and hybrid courses
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and instructional design best practices
• Manage defined work packages and escalate complex issues to senior staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in instructional design or related field
• Knowledge of digital accessibility standards (e.g., ADA Title II, WCAG 2.1 A/AA)
• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
• Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
