Instructional Design Specialist

Job Summary

Leading a team of instructional designers, the full-time remote Instructional Design Specialist will oversee the development of engaging learning programs, manage project timelines and resources, and ensure effective training solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development of learning programs from concept to delivery
• Manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring project quality
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leaders to translate business needs into effective learning strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in instructional design, with at least 5 years in a senior role
• Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models
• Experience managing multiple projects and leading cross-functional teams
