Job Summary
Owning the Train to Maintain and Advanced Maintenance curricula portfolios, the full-time Instructional Designer will design, develop, and maintain technical training for service engineers and technicians, focusing on instructor-led courses and experiential labs while working both remotely and onsite as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the content readiness and instructional approach for the training curricula across all supported platforms
- Assess platform releases and service changes to prioritize necessary training updates and develop appropriate learning objectives
- Collaborate with field service engineers and technical writers to create effective learning solutions that translate complex procedures into teachable content
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an instructional designer developing technical training for mechanical or electro-mechanical systems
- Hands-on familiarity with basic technician toolsets, such as torque wrenches and mechanical adjustment tools
- Experience creating experiential learning, including labs and hands-on exercises
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work under deadline pressures
- Experience supporting global training programs and localization efforts
