Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Instructional Designer will define learning objectives, design and develop training materials, and collaborate with subject matter experts to create effective instructional content for the utility industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Define learning objectives, course structure, training flow, and assessments
• Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, and virtual training materials
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables independently while ensuring compliance with company standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience developing training content in a technical environment, preferably within the utility industry
• Strong skills in instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, with familiarity in Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
