Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To support the SP&D team, the part-time hourly Instructional Designer will develop and maintain learning content and compliance programs while collaborating with Curriculum Development experts and Subject Matter Experts in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define learning objectives, course structure, and assessments while ensuring alignment with audience needs and business processes
• Develop learning materials, including presentations, guides, activities, and assessments, adhering to company standards
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and manage tasks and deadlines independently, incorporating feedback to ensure project success

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing instructor-led, eLearning, or virtual training in a technical environment
• Proficiency in technical writing and strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Word, with familiarity in Excel
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work under pressure while remaining flexible
