Job Summary
To support employee and customer development initiatives, the full-time remote Instructional Designer will design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions, applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create high-quality training programs and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop courses and materials for diverse audiences while utilizing adult learning theories and the ADDIE model
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and enhance content, ensuring it meets branding and accessibility standards
- Produce multimedia training materials, including eLearning courses and instructional videos, using authoring tools like Articulate and Camtasia
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Education or a related field preferred, with substantial professional experience considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of experience creating various training materials and videos, including business software tutorials
- Experience with Articulate and Camtasia, along with at least 1 year of partnering with leaders on learning projects
- Understanding of adult learning principles and experience addressing learner accessibility challenges
- Virtual facilitation experience preferred, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
