Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Supporting the design and development of a large-scale learning ecosystem, the full-time remote Instructional Designer will create engaging eLearning experiences by applying adult learning principles and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency across 1,200+ learning modules.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with instructors and stakeholders to define learning outcomes and instructional strategies for course development
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to develop high-quality eLearning content that meets design standards and learning objectives
• Maintain and enhance existing courses by incorporating user experience improvements and responding to content challenges

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, or Education with a focus on Adult Learning
• 5 years of experience in learning and development course design
• Proficiency with eLearning course-building tools, such as Articulate or Adobe Captivate
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience with learning experience design (LXD) and UX principles
• Familiarity with WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards and experience with VPAT documentation
