Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Instructional Designer will collaborate with faculty and staff to create engaging online course content and learning activities for hybrid and asynchronous modalities, applying instructional design theories and practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engaging learning activities and online course content in collaboration with faculty and staff
• Create video modules, storyboards, and graphics while identifying pedagogical needs
• Apply instructional design theories and best practices to enhance eLearning experiences

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Online Education, Education Technology, or a related field
• Minimum two years of experience in instructional design or education technology
• Knowledge of best practices in online teaching, learning, and assessment
• Familiarity with instructional design tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to design and develop online and hybrid courses both independently and collaboratively
