Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Instructional Designer will identify performance gaps and create tailored learning experiences, including online course content and engaging materials, to support the US Air Force Research Laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute knowledge transfer initiatives, including standard operating procedures and comprehensive documentation
• Develop online course content that meets organizational objectives and ensures learner engagement and accessibility
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality learning resources and assess their effectiveness through feedback and data analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a closely related field
• 4+ years of teaching, training, or web designing experience
• Proven experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Familiarity with design and learning programs (e.g., Adobe, Photoshop, Flash)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic familiarity with the SDLC
