Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Designing high-quality, learner-centered training solutions, the hybrid remote Instructional Designer will develop training design plans, storyboards, and curriculum for various learning formats while collaborating with subject matter experts and multimedia teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of training design plans, storyboards, and curriculum for instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning formats
• Support the creation of train-the-trainer participant guides, facilitator guides, and other accompanying resources
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to accurately capture and transform technical content into effective training materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of directly related experience
• Proven experience developing training design plans, including learning objectives and instructional strategies
• Strong curriculum-writing skills with the ability to produce facilitator guides and e-learning content
• Understanding of adult-learning principles and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools and knowledge of ADDIE or similar instructional design methodologies
