Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Collaborating with faculty and subject matter experts, the full-time remote Instructional Designer will design, develop, and enhance high-quality online and blended learning experiences while applying research-based learning theories and accessibility standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs instructional materials, ensuring alignment with accessibility guidelines and institutional standards
• Collaborates with faculty to create engaging courses and provides guidance on curriculum and assessment strategies
• Reviews and revises course materials for clarity and instructional effectiveness while managing project timelines

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in designing online courses in higher education
• Experience collaborating with faculty or SMEs to develop instructional materials
• Familiarity with course development processes and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Knowledge of accessibility and compliance standards, such as WCAG 2.2
