Job Summary
Collaborating with faculty and subject matter experts, the full-time remote Instructional Designer will design, develop, and enhance high-quality online and blended learning experiences while applying research-based learning theories and accessibility standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Designs instructional materials, ensuring alignment with accessibility guidelines and institutional standards
- Collaborates with faculty to create engaging courses and provides guidance on curriculum and assessment strategies
- Reviews and revises course materials for clarity and instructional effectiveness while managing project timelines
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in designing online courses in higher education
- Experience collaborating with faculty or SMEs to develop instructional materials
- Familiarity with course development processes and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of accessibility and compliance standards, such as WCAG 2.2
