Job Summary
Supporting the U.S. Navy Community College, two full-time Instructional Designers will design, develop, and maintain fully online undergraduate-level asynchronous and competency-based education courses remotely, collaborating with faculty and subject matter experts to create engaging instructional content.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain online undergraduate-level courses and modules
- Collaborate with faculty and SMEs to align curriculum and instructional content
- Apply evidence-based instructional design practices and accessibility standards
Required qualifications
- 7 years of experience developing online asynchronous and competency-based education courses
- 7 years of experience applying andragogical best practices in instruction for working adults
- 7 years of experience designing faculty-development courses to enhance online teaching effectiveness
- 7 years of experience designing online courses that support student success in online learning environments
- 7 years of experience operating and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS) in higher education or government training
