Job Summary
Collaborating with curriculum teams, the fully remote Instructional Designer will create engaging online courses and instructional materials while applying instructional design principles and adult learning theories to enhance student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and develop course documentation and resources
- Design and develop interactive online course materials and assessments that promote active engagement
- Stay current with trends in instructional design and assist in troubleshooting course access issues
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design or a related field
- Minimum three years of professional experience in instructional design, including one year in higher education
- Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and distance instruction
- Practical experience with learning management systems and course-authoring software
- Certificate or formal training in instructional design if degree is not in the field
