Instructional Designer/Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Instructional Designer/Technical Writer specializing in Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop training materials for instructor-led training (ILT) and eLearning focused on work instructions and performance tasks
• Update existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve clarity and differentiation between SOPs and job functions
• Collaborate with the Paper Machine department to ensure accurate and effective documentation

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in technical writing
• 2+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer creating ILT and eLearning materials
• 2+ years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the paper industry
• 2+ years of experience writing for Manufacturing Operations
• Expert level skills in Microsoft Word
