Instructional Specialist for Educators

Job Summary

To support the Professional Development for Educators program, the part-time Instructional Specialist for Educators will develop and deliver online non-credit courses and workshops for academic, corporate, and training professionals, with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate non-credit courses for the Professional Development for Educators unit
• Participate in training and meetings to effectively use OSU's learning management system (Canvas)
• Promote experiential learning and success for students from diverse backgrounds through course design and delivery

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a closely related field
• Experience in developing and/or delivering online courses
• One year of experience working as an educator
• Advanced certifications related to online learning techniques and standards
• Demonstrated ability to design and assess inclusive courses that promote equitable teaching practices
