Job Summary

Supporting the FDIC Corporate University Course Maintenance Program, the full-time remote Instructional Systems Designer will collaborate with personnel and Subject Matter Experts to maintain, revise, and modernize professional courses and training materials across various instructional formats.

Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with FDIC CU personnel and SMEs to design and maintain courseware
  • Updating instructional materials across multiple modalities, including instructor guides and virtual classroom setups
  • Reviewing Course Change Sheets and ensuring compliance with technical guidelines and accessibility standards
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of professional instructional design experience
  • DHS Trusted Tester training or certification preferred
  • Proven experience in technical writing, course material conversion, and web-based course development
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
