Job Summary

Supporting the FDIC Corporate University Course Maintenance Program, the full-time remote Instructional Systems Designer will collaborate with FDIC personnel and SMEs to maintain and modernize a comprehensive catalog of professional courses and training materials across various instructional formats.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborating with FDIC CU personnel, project managers, and SMEs to design, update, and maintain courseware
  • Updating and revising instructional materials across multiple modalities, including design plans, instructor guides, and virtual classroom setups
  • Developing asynchronous Web-Based Training (WBT) and ensuring all deliverables comply with CU technical guidelines and accessibility standards
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of professional instructional design experience
  • DHS Trusted Tester trained or certified (preferred or able to meet program testing requirements)
  • Proven experience in technical writing, course material conversion, and multimedia technology integration
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and high proficiency in Excel
