Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer will focus on configuring and modifying Emerson Ovation HMI graphics, ensuring effective integration with control systems, and supporting testing and compliance activities in regulated environments.
Key responsibilities
- Build, modify, and configure Emerson Ovation HMI graphics and operational displays
- Map and link graphical elements to DCS/SCADA points and live process data tags
- Provide troubleshooting and graphic adjustments during commissioning and startup phases
Required qualifications
- 12-15 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems engineering
- Expertise in Emerson Ovation architecture and familiarity with other DCS systems
- Strong understanding of HMI layout principles for control room applications
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP
- Knowledge of turbine and process control systems in power generation environments
