Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to support the development of Sodium Fast Reactor technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of I&C and supporting electrical systems from functional requirements through final design and commissioning
• Collaborate with a geographically distributed team to develop system documentation and designs
• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry codes, standards, and NRC regulations in all engineering activities

Qualifications & Experience

• B.S. or higher in Controls, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university
• 6+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls systems design, development, and integration
• Familiarity with nuclear instrumentation or reactor safety system design preferred
• Understanding of nuclear QA frameworks such as ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B
• Experience with startup testing procedures and integration of I&C systems is highly desirable
