Job Summary

A company is looking for an Instrumentation Technician III in Lake County, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain technical skills in installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of analytical lab instrumentation
Diagnose and resolve instrumentation performance issues through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
Coordinate problem resolution with cross-functional groups and external suppliers to expedite services and repairs

Required Qualifications:

Associates degree or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is highly preferred
3+ years of hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, including Spectrophotometers and Chromatography Systems
Experience with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) is required
Preferred experience in maintenance, calibration, and repair of analytical lab instrumentation
Preferred experience using mass-spectrometry systems
