Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Accountant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex supporting workpapers, reconciliations, and journal entries for insurance operations
  • Coordinate settlement of accounts with external insurance companies and brokers
  • Assist with quarterly and annual SEC reporting, annual audits, and insurance department exams
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Experience in public accounting or within the property & casualty industry
  • Proficient in MS Office Products, with advanced skills in Excel
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations
